App Update

ZippZapp Is Now Live on Google Play Store

ZippZapp Team·3 min read

ZippZapp is now a full Android app, available to download on Google Play. What started as a simple way to coordinate rides has grown into an app built specifically for intercity ride-sharing in India, starting with the Ranchi–Patna route.

What's in the app today

  • Google sign-in — set up your profile in seconds, no separate account to manage
  • Ride posting and matching — car owners share their route, passengers find a seat heading the same way
  • Ride management — track your ride from confirmation to completion in one place
  • Ratings — both car owners and passengers rate each other after every ride
  • A transparent cost calculator — know the fare before you commit, based on distance and luggage

Why this matters

Moving from a manual, message-based process to a proper app means faster matching, a clearer record of every ride, and a rating system that builds trust over time instead of starting from zero with every trip.

What's next

The Ranchi–Patna corridor is the starting point, not the whole plan. As more car owners and passengers join, expect more routes, and more of the on-the-road features — from travel essentials to roadside help — that ZippZapp is building toward.

Download ZippZapp and see who's already driving your route.
